About Matter Dance
Matter Dance Company was founded by Carisa Barreca, Gail Adduci and Jessica Hoversen, who have been collaborating for many years. They have performed together throughout the Midwest including Chicago and Milwaukee. Their work has been featured in Dance Chicago, Around the Coyote Festival, Open House Dance Collective and Collaborations. Matter Dance Company believes dance should be created for the audience as well as the dancers. Using observation to fuel their dance liberates them to create outside of the box. Matter Dance is a not-for-profit organization with 501(c)(3) status.
